Workforce Development and Capacity Building
Capability that stays after the engagement closes.
Overview
How we help
Clinical staff are frequently promoted into management with no preparation for budgets, rosters, performance conversations or service planning. Institutions then attribute to individuals what is in fact an absence of management development.
Our programmes are built around the institution’s real work: its services, its data, its constraints and its current problems. Participants work on live improvement tasks and are assessed on what changes as a result.
Where an engagement includes operational or quality redesign, we train internal leads to own it, so that the institution is not dependent on external support to sustain the change.

Situations this work is designed for
New management tier

Questions
Frequently asked
- Are programmes delivered on site?
- Yes, and this is usually preferable because participants work on their own service data and processes. Blended delivery is available.
- Do you provide certification?
- We issue programme completion documentation. We do not claim accreditation or awarding-body status that we do not hold.
